Membership Application

Membership Information

Regular Member

Regular membership is open to any accredited, not-for-profit university, college, or other post-secondary institution. A regular member receives full membership benefits and can vote on association business at the annual business meeting.

Provisional Member

Provisional membership is open to any pre-accredited institution that is otherwise eligible for regular membership. A provisional member receives all membership benefits except a vote at meetings of the association.

Associate Member

Associate membership is open to other not-for-profit organizations concerned with higher education (e.g., museums, libraries, coordinating boards or agencies, foundations, and societies). Associate members receive all membership benefits except a vote at meetings of the association.

Affiliate Member (NAIS)

Affiliate membership is open to member institutions of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). Affiliate members receive all membership benefits except a vote at meetings of the association.

Subscriber Member (private business)

Subscriber membership is open to for-profit educational institutions and for-profit organizations and agencies concerned with higher education. Subscriber members receive membership benefits except a vote at meetings of the association.

Emeritus Member

Emeritus membership provides an opportunity for former business officers to participate in EACUBO as individual members. This category is reserved for individuals who no longer work for member institutions or organizations (e.g., due to retirement). It is only available to such individuals if they do not work for institutions or organizations that would themselves qualify for membership through other categories. Applications should be submitted to EACUBO through the Member Services Committee. Emeritus members receive all membership benefits except a vote at meetings of the association.
