Maureen Murphy, Chief Financial Officer & Associate Vice Chancellor of Finance, Budget, and IT
Maureen Murphy has begun her new position at New York University-Abu Dhabi as Chief Financial Officer and Associate Vice Chancellor of Finance, Budget, and IT. Murphy oversees NYU Abu Dhabi’s budgeting and financial services, as well as managing the development and operations of the university’s technology backbone and shared services. Murphy joins NYU Abu Dhabi from Brandeis University, where she has served as vice president for financial affairs and treasurer since 2005. Previously, she served as the university’s associate vice president for financial management and university controller. Prior to her tenure at Brandeis, Murphy was associate controller for Tufts University’s Health Science and Medford campuses, and a manager at KPMG.
Maureen has been very active in EACUBO over the past decade. For the past four years, she has served on the Board of Directors. The new job has forced Maureen to resign as EACUBO Treasurer.
