An Important Message from EACUBO Chair Nicole Trufant

Dear Colleagues,

I am writing to inform you that we have made the difficult decision to move the EACUBO Annual Meeting to a new date in Spring 2022.

Our goal for the hybrid format EACUBO Annual Meeting was to create a full, enriching experience, and to do so in a manner that would protect the health and safety of all. When we opened registrations, we did so with the hope that members would enthusiastically sign up for an in-person experience alongside their online colleagues. However, the ongoing pandemic has had a greater-than-expected impact on registration numbers for both formats. It would not be fair to our currently registered colleagues, business partners, exhibitors, and others if we held an event that did not meet our high standards for interactive professional development, collaboration and networking, which is why we have decided to move our meeting into the spring of 2022.

For our in-person registrants - a couple of important housekeeping items:

  • Please cancel your hotel reservations immediately by calling 215-625-2900. Reservations need to be cancelled at least 72-hours before your planned check-in to avoid any cancellation fees.
  • Please cancel any flight or train tickets. Amtrak and some airlines have relaxed their cancellation penalties. EACUBO is not able to cover any cancellation penalties.

In-person and online registration fees will be refunded. All registration refunds will be automatically processed and there is no need to contact EACUBO to initiate this reimbursement. Please note that the refund will be processed and reimbursed within 60 days through the registrant’s original method of payment.

We are very aware of the impact of this change will have on your plans and we will keep you informed as we have more information to share. We truly regret any inconvenience this may cause, and we hope to make it up to you when we see you in person next spring.

Most of all, thank you for your understanding, your commitment to EACUBO, and for your hard work as business officers as we navigate these challenging times.

We look forward to seeing you in the Spring.

Sincerely,

Nicole L. Trufant
