EACUBO Chair's Message

As Chair of EACUBO, I am honored to serve our members and to continue strengthening the association’s role as the premier resource for business and finance professionals in higher education across the eastern United States. My goal is for EACUBO to be the first place our colleagues turn for high-quality education, practical guidance, and a strong, supportive community of peers.

As an association, we will remain focused on delivering timely, relevant programs and meaningful networking opportunities that address the real challenges our members face in an evolving higher education landscape. EACUBO will continue to be a dependable source of learning, a trusted network of experienced professionals, and a vital connection to business partners who provide solutions that enhance service, improve efficiency, and help manage costs.

I am also committed to delivering professional development formats and approaches that support our members, ensuring access to valuable content aligned with their work, schedules, and institutional needs.

Higher education is changing rapidly, and our institutions depend on strong, thoughtful leadership from business and finance professionals. EACUBO has an important responsibility to support that leadership by offering exceptional training, encouraging innovation, fostering collaboration among higher education members and business partners, and elevating the impact of our profession across the sector.

I am grateful for the dedication, expertise, and generosity our members bring to this community, and I am inspired by the work you do every day on behalf of your institutions. Thank you for your engagement with EACUBO and for the many ways you contribute to our shared success. I look forward to hearing from you, working alongside you, and supporting the important work ahead.

Thank you,

Sara Thorndike
