Eric Miller

Director of Internal Audit, Penn State

Eric Miller is the Director of Internal Audit at Penn State, bringing more than 20 years of experience in internal audit, risk, governance, and compliance across higher education, government, and the private sector. He leads the Office of Internal Audit, overseeing University-wide audit activities, special investigations, and strategic planning, and provides primary support to the Board of Trustees’ Committee on Audit and Risk.

Prior to Penn State, Eric served as Director of Ethics, Compliance and Audit at North Dakota State University and held audit and risk leadership roles with RSM, Baker Tilly, Arthur Andersen, and Prudential Financial. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Concordia College and is actively involved in the internal audit profession.
