As GPS Business Development Executive, Galen works across business lines and global regions to deepen senior client relationships and generate new revenue opportunities. He partners closely with product, technology, and service teams to develop treasury and payment solutions tailored to complex client needs—often working with CFOs, treasurers, and cash management leaders at some of the world’s most sophisticated institutions. In his last role, Galen served as Co-Head of Global Specialized Product Sales, leading strategy and execution for Bank of America’s product-specific sales in payments, receivables, merchant services, trade, and foreign exchange. His leadership spanned key industry sectors including healthcare, technology/media/telecom (TMT) and general industries, aligning internal operations with evolving client needs. Galen oversaw globally distributed teams across Asia, Europe, Latin America and Canada while driving talent development, regulatory alignment, financial planning, and long-term growth strategies. Previously, Galen led global treasury sales for the bank’s commercial client segments. Managing a team of 600 across the U.S. and Canada, and matrixing across global markets, he oversaw the delivery of treasury solutions for clients with revenues ranging from $50 million to $4 billion. He also led global expansion for U.S.-based clients, supporting market visits, pitch development, and executive coverage across multiple continents. Galen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Stonehill College. He lives in Falmouth, Massachusetts with his wife, Megan, and their daughter, Clara. |
