Howard Teibel is the founder and president of Teibel Education, a national consulting firm that works with colleges and universities to strengthen leadership, financial strategy, and organizational health.

Throughout his career, Howard has served as a trusted advisor to senior leaders navigating complexity in institutions. His work bridges the often-siloed worlds of faculty, administration, and governance, fostering environments where bold thinking and shared purpose can flourish.

With over 35 years of experience in education consulting, Howard is also the host of the Navigating Change podcast, which convenes national voices on leadership, education transformation, and innovation. His contributions to the book Redesigning Higher Education: Systemic Integration and Cluster-Based Learning underscore his passion for structural reform and his vision for a more integrated and responsive educational ecosystem.

His work is informed by a lifelong commitment to personal and organizational development, shaped by studies with leading thinkers like Fernando Flores, Edgar Schein, and the transformational practices of the Hoffman Institute. He is a co-founder of Fathers Forever, a support organization for fathers who have experienced the death of a child and served with his wife on the board of the Massachusetts SIDS Center. Howard also serves on the Board of Trustees for the Chautauqua Institute.

In addition to delivering keynotes, Teibel Education provides consulting and coaching services to institutions across the country, including Brown University, Rutgers, Georgia Tech, Penn State, and Princeton, among others. In addition, Teibel Education partners with the Chronicle of Higher Education to deliver a nationwide leadership program designed to help administrators and academic leaders navigate today’s uncertainties and drive meaningful change.
