Partner, Forvis Mazars

Nikki is a partner in the Nonprofit, Education, and Public Sector Practice at Forvis Mazars. In 2024, she relocated to Boston to lead the expansion of the firm’s presence and impact across Greater Boston, Massachusetts, and New England. Nikki currently leads the Boston assurance department and brings over 20 years of experience in accounting and auditing. Prior to joining Forvis Mazars, Nikki served as a departmental business manager at a major public university, acting as a liaison between faculty and business operations.

Throughout her career, she has worked extensively with private and public higher education institutions, nonprofit organizations, and governmental entities. She serves as engagement executive on engagements involving not only complex accounting and financial reporting matters, but also sophisticated internal control environments and governance structures, including organizations with multiple stakeholder groups, affiliated entities, significant investments, regulatory requirements, and audit committee oversight. This experience gives Nikki a strong understanding of the governance, financial reporting, compliance and operational challenges facing higher education institutions.

A dedicated advocate for the nonprofit sector, she has served on numerous nonprofit boards. She currently sits on the Board of Overseers for the Boch Center in Boston and is an active member of Chief, a network focused on empowering women executive leaders. Nikki is also a member of the Massachusetts Society of CPAs.

Nikki is a graduate of Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, with a B.S. degree in accounting.
